Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal information from within our apps. There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name or email address. However, our apps do report usage and anonymous device statistics to a server that we own and control. This server runs analytics software from Countly, and its purpose is to show us general trends: how many people use an app and how often, which versions of iOS and which devices they use, and roughly which countries they're in (estimated from your IP address). Countly is just the software: our analytics server is self-hosted by Objective Jellyfish, not run by Countly or any other third party.

In apps with an In-App Purchase, we also get a notification when someone buys it. It's kind of cool to know when someone somewhere in the universe supports one of our apps.

Your Data Stays on Your Device

What you enter into our apps, like grades, player names, and scores, is stored on your device. We don't upload it to our server.

Ads

Some of our apps show ads from Google AdMob. Google might be creepy, and it has ways of collecting data about you through these ads, such as your device's identifiers, your IP address, and how you interact with the ads. You can read how Google uses this information in Google's privacy policy.

If this bothers you and the app offers an In-App Purchase to remove ads, buying it turns the ads off. Of course, another option is to stop using the app.

Emails

Some of our apps let you email us from within the app. This is completely optional. It opens an email draft in your device's mail app, using the email account you choose. If you send it, we of course have your email address, and we only use it to reply to you.

This Website

This website doesn't use analytics or cookies. It does load a font from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests that font from Google.
